Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is a city on the Adriatic Sea coast in the extreme south of Croatia. Owing to its exceptional and rare historical heritage, it is one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Adriatic. Although it has been damaged considerably during the great earthquake in 1667, and during the bombarding in 1991, Dubrovnik achieved to conserve beautiful gothic, renaissance and baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Dubrovnik is a perfect destination for a vacation, and everything that a vacation consists of. Considering the fact that it represents the origin of the Croatian science and culture, in 1979, the city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Dubrovnik is a unique sample of very well preserved urban area, with controlled distribution of streets and squares dating from the Renaissance and Baroque. Cavtat
It is situated 19 km southeast from Dubrovnik beneath the Adriatic Highway on the west coast of Konavli. The name Cavtat originates from Civitas vetus, as the fugitives in the newly established Dubrovnik used to call their first habitation Epidaurus. Tourism and the catering trade are here a tradition, very well recognized by tourists. In Cavtat today exists five hotels, out of which the most famous is „Croatia“(5*), numerous restaurants, coffee bars, souvenir's shops and a port that can accommodate vessels and yachts.

Zaton
The resort Zaton is situated in Dubrovnik-Neretva County in a beautiful lagoon 8 km southwest from Dubrovnik, right next to the Adriatic highway. It consists of little and Big Zaton. The name Zaton originates from an expression that signifies a lagon (zaton = lagoon) in which it is situated. Tourism is here very developed, although it's one of the very few communities that do not have a hotel. Private accommodation is therefore available to you.

Trsteno
Trsteno is situated right next to the Adriatic highway, at about 20 km southwest from Dubrovnik. In 5th century it was already inhabitant, as a proof there are numerous archaeological findings. About antiquity of this resort which was frequently visited by seamen can testimony the paintings in parish church of st. Vid. In 1939 Trsteno becomes a section of the Republic of Dubrovnik, so with the passage of time, the Notable people from Dubrovnik are building there their summerhouses, of which the most famous one is the family Gučetić-Gozze's summer house, situated in Arboretum, the oldest botanical garden in Croatia.

Blace & Opuzen
Blace is situated on the delta of the river Neretva. It's a small resort that counts about 200 inhabitants, and it offers a wide range of utilities in a restful outdoors: fishing, hiking, ect. You can easily find private accommodation. The Fishermen's night (traditional entertainment of local inhabitants), you shouldn't miss by no means.

Ploče
It's a very small resort situated a few kilometres far away from the delta of the river Neetva. It consists of several smaller resorts: Baćina, Banja, Komin, Peračko Blato, Plina Jezero, Ploče, Rogotin, Staševica i Šarić Struga. It can offer all of the required services.

Klek
Klek is a small coastal resort situated in a lagoon next to the highway in between Split and Dubrovnik. Once it was a part of the Republic of Dubrovnik. The inhabitants are mostly engaged in breeding fruits and vegetables, fishing and tourism. It is surrounded with hundred years old olives trees, oleanders, and others mediterranean plants. It is a perfect choice for those who wish to have a restful vacation. Tennis courts, mini-golf courts and numerous beaches are at a disposal to the guests. Koločep
The island is situated northwest from Dubrovnik. Once upon a time it was inhabitant by seamen, coral searchers, shipbuilders, fishermen, and some of them have also been producing vine. On the island you can still find the remaining from the Iron Age. Much later the Greeks and the Romans have inhabitant this island. Today it is an oasis for those anxious to have quiet holidays.

Lopud
Lopud lies between the islands of Koločep and Šipan. Its most attractive features are sandy beaches, beautifull promenades, cypresses and the sounds of crickets, loved equally by small and adult visitors. Romantic lagoons will provide for you unforgetable sunsets. Cheese and smoked ham you can taste in numerous restaurants. The island has several hotels to offer, but the accomodation is mostly private.

Šipan
The island of Šipan is the largest of the Elafiti islands and has the most inhabitants. It's best known resorts are Šipanska Luka (port of Šipan) i Suđurđu. Most of the island is dense forest interspersed with vineyards, olive groves and citruses. Small hidden lagoons with crystal clear sea are the island's specificity, and you will not be able to resist them. You can find there about 30 churches built in the Middle Ages, thereby many of them are a bit ruinous. In Suđurđ, in a vicinity of the port is situated the renaissance Castle built in 16th century.
